About ICARC 2025

Converging Horizons: Uniting Disciplines in Computing Research Through AI Innovation

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the landscape of computing research, creating unprecedented opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. AI's ability to analyze vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions is being harnessed across various fields, leading to innovative solutions and new avenues of exploration. This convergence is not only enhancing the capabilities within individual disciplines but also driving the creation of new hybrid fields that integrate principles and methodologies from multiple domains.

In this backdrop, the Faculty of Computing, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that the 05
th
International Conference on Advanced Research in Computing - ICARC 2025 will be held on 19
th
and 20
th
February 2025 under the theme
"Converging Horizons: Uniting Disciplines in Computing Research Through AI Innovation".

The conference features keynote and plenary speeches from eminent scholars and industry experts, oral presentations, pre-conference workshops and tutorials to provide ample opportunities for discussion and knowledge dissemination under a wide range of computing disciplines. ICARC 2025, now in its fourth consecutive year with IEEE Technical Co-sponsorship showcases high-caliber research and innovation. The accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements.

Authors of all high-quality accepted papers may be invited to submit extended versions for publication as full journal articles in the MDPI Computers journal, under the special issue Emerging Trends in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Selected papers will receive 50-100% fee waiver. https://www.mdpi.com/journal/computers/special_issues/4KORITI42U
